This Privacy Policy describes how Tailormade LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Strata Pro ("Software"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Exchange API Credentials: To use the Software, you must provide your exchange API credentials. These credentials are:
- Stored locally on your device using your operating system's secure credential storage (macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager, or Linux Secret Service)
- Encrypted by your operating system's secure storage
- Never transmitted to our servers
- Used solely to authenticate with the exchange's API on your behalf
1.2 Information Stored Locally
The Software stores your preferences and settings (such as workspaces, theme, order quantities, and sound preferences) in local configuration files on your device. The Software also maintains a local trading log of your order and fill activity for auditing purposes. All of this data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.
1.3 Account and License Data
When you subscribe or activate a license, we collect:
- Email Address: Provided during checkout and used for license delivery and essential service communications
- Installation Identifier: A randomly generated ID stored on your device. This is not derived from your hardware and contains no information about you or your device. It is used solely to bind your license to an installation.
- License Key and Activation Status: Transmitted to our license server to validate your subscription
1.4 License Validation
The Software periodically contacts our license server to validate your subscription status. These requests include your license key and activation identifier. Your application version is included in the request header. No trading activity, positions, or financial data is transmitted.
1.5 Update Checking
The Software checks for newer versions at startup by contacting our servers. This request includes your application version for compatibility purposes. No personal information, API credentials, account data, or trading activity is transmitted during this check.
1.6 Website Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, which may set cookies for anonymous session tracking. The desktop application does not use cookies. Our website also collects anonymous download statistics to understand which platforms are most popular. This includes download counts by platform and general geographic region (country level). This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
- Enable the Software to connect to supported exchanges on your behalf
- Provide pre-cached market data to improve Software performance and reliability
We do NOT use your information to:
- Make trading decisions
- Share with advertisers
- Build user profiles
- Contact you for marketing purposes
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your API credentials are sent directly from your device to the exchange's servers and are never routed through our servers.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. For information about how Stripe handles your data, please refer to Stripe's privacy policy.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- API credentials are encrypted using your operating system's secure storage
- All communications with exchanges use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- We do not store sensitive data on our servers
However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and credentials.
5. Data Retention
- API Credentials: Stored on your device until you delete them or uninstall the Software
- Local Preferences: Stored on your device until cleared or the Software is uninstalled
- Trading Logs: Stored on your device for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted
- Application Logs: Stored on your device for up to 7 days, then automatically deleted
- License Data: Your email, license key, and activation records are retained on our servers for the duration of your subscription and a reasonable period afterward for support and legal compliance
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can:
- Delete your credentials: Use the Settings menu in the Software to clear stored credentials
- Clear local storage: Delete the Software's local settings directory to remove preferences
- Uninstall: Remove the Software from your device at any time
7. Children's Privacy
The Software is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us.
8. International Users
The Software is operated from the United States. If you access the Software from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
